Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

In need of a lumber company logo. We are a Pine Mill producing primarily Pine paneling for both interior and exterior uses. We are changing some equipment and going to be producing one of our products in a new fashion. Exterior barn siding with a rough sawn look is the product we are re-engineering. The product itself is as old as building homes in America. But the process for making it has evolved slightly over time. We used to put the boards through a modern planer and then run a traditional band saw across the board to give the front face that authentic rough sawn look. We are now installing a new state of the art high speed planer and would like to recreate this rough face look but with high speed knife heads instead. We have the new equipment and the new knife heads. Now we must name this product to differentiate it from the methods of old and help us to sell a new way of making an old product. This product is currently called rough face, rougher head, or band sawn.
We would like to rename this material, “Knive Sawn” and have a logo created for it. The logo could be just the name in creative text. Or it could involve a combination of text and graphic image. For example, using some image or form of traditional handled knife, saw, high speed knife head (see image attached). The knife heads used are called negative angle heads (think shaving with a straight edge razor). The edge is pulled backwards against the board rather than cutting toward and into it. If that description inspires any graphic, it could work also. Also attached are some of our other current logos if they provide any guide or inspiration, but do not have to. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Thanks!
