What Is It?
Pulse payroll is an Australian based consultancy which provides advice to businesses about the best practice systems and processes to ensure the company’s electronic payroll system is
• Paying employees the exact amount they have earned based on hours worked and additional payments related to overtime, leave loadings, superannuation etc
• Being compliant with all the government regulations around worker’s entitlements
Why is it called ‘Pulse’?
We believe that the payroll system is like the heartbeat of an organisation. Any errors made can prove fatal for a business because those errors can lead to negative consequences like
• Employee resentment, distrust, diminished loyalty
• Client disruption as they observe poor values or systems are tolerated at the company
• Legal issues and regulation breaches can result in severe penalties
• Negative press damages their brand
So like a heart, it needs to be regularly checked for any signs of disease, blockages etc so changes can be made to prevent failure. Pulse Payroll has the expertise, experience and tools to run a diagnostic test on a company’s payroll system for early detection of potential problems. Pulse can recommend remedial action and get the health of payroll back on track. As with a heart the first action of a doctor is to feel the patient’s pulse to detect any irregularities.
N.B. We believe that logos which use the heart as a symbol run the risk of being related to romance or a heart related charity. We are not ruling this out but just want to raise that concern for designers as we are dealing with a serious topic and want a professional corporate feel. Using something like a cardiac monitor graph showing the regularity and strength of each beat may be a more fruitful creative territory, but we will leave your options open.
