Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

My logo is partially designed. I would like to use the same font shown in the logo version mock-ups attached and keep the [R] framed in a similar manner as well. I am open to minor changes to optimize the look but don't want to undertake any major changes with the font and framing.

My primary goal is to ADD DEPTH + DIMENSIONALITY since the current version looks very flat. Ideally, I would like to include a 3D effect to add a sense of dynamism to accentuate the concept of "REVOLUTION." That said, I realize 3D can be tricky to pull off so am also open to adding depth in less complex ways.

It is especially important that the [R] looks good since it is the focal point of all logo versions and will be used as an icon in a stand alone way sometimes. I need your help adding depth + dimensionality in a way that will look great across all logo variations!

Color palette = CMY + RGB.

Most of the time the logo will be placed on a black background. Occasionally it will be reversed out and placed in on CMY + RGB solids and gradient backgrounds.
