Who we are:
GLOSS is a personal finance focused ("fintech") software company developing mobile/web apps/services. We believe that abundance is created when people have greater freedom in choice, and that a meaningful part of this is facilitated through our mission: giving our members an accessible and intuitive understanding of their assets and money.
What we make:
The first product GLOSS will be releasing is the "Gloss Vault". This is a web and mobile app that helps you answer 2 primary questions: WHERE are my things of value, and WHAT can I do with them.
Where: your Vault helps you aggregate, catalog, and track everything you have of value - whether it be a house, stocks, and bank accounts; to air miles, coffee shop points, and coupons. You'll always have one place to have the most up-to-date picture of what you have, instead of relying on memory alone.
What: from there, the "Gloss Vault" can present you with scenarios of what you can do with it, whether you want to find expenses to cut and save money on; calculating the true cost of the loan you might want to take; or simply just moving you money from one savings account to another that pays higher interest. The Gloss Vault has you covered.
Benefits unique to the "GLOSS Vault". Personal finance aggregators exist in some form across the world. The Vault contains 3 unique features that makes it different.
Global and Accessible - the Vault is fundamentally designed to be a global product. It doesn't matter where you are from or in in the world, we can cater for your use case and your region.
Independent - The Vault is not there to push its own savings, investment, or other kinds of wealth management products. It has no affiliation with existing financial institutions. It is simply there to help you identify your valuables, and find what you might do with it.
Private - We take your privacy seriously. So seriously, in fact, that we promise never to sell your data or even send it to outsourced contractors - a promise we can keep because fundamentally, we have no way of seeing your data. Your information is for your eyes only.
Target audience
We are aiming for global accessibility of all GLOSS products, especially the "GLOSS Vault". However, as you have to start somewhere, our first audience will be English speaking markets such as the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia.
There are no explicit restrictions or preferences on attributes such as age, gender, income, lifestyle etc. We do anticipate that people who will be most at ease with the nature and concept of our app will be those that have some experience with web or mobile banking.
Logo use
We would like our Gloss Vault logo to be used on for icons big and small, high and potentially row resolution, within our web and mobile apps, but also will extend to letterheads, merchandise, physical and digital marketing, website etc.
GLOSS itself will have other products with their own logos in the future, so we will also be looking for the GLOSS Vault app logo here to have some parts of it that we can make consistent for the parent GLOSS company, and using that consistency for the other GLOSS product logos in the future.
We would like it to encourage approachability, non judgement, and as best as possible convey a sense that we are there to be a person's guide, with kindness and at their own pace. That their data is safe, secure, and most importantly private, so they can feel safe from the judgement of others.
