Correct me if i am wrong
Your website should be a replica of your work.You are environmental engineers who is socially responsible and construct their project without hurting nature. So, your site should be clean and should emit less carbon. Should be fast to save energy. Should focus on a small section which shows nature. No need for flash or rotating image because a simple informative graphics is more appealing than rotating images. 
This is what i understand about the project i am a graphic designer from INDIA and i am going to design a site on following assumptions.
For SEO i got my programmers who will develop the site on web 2.0 standard and by using CMS.
Correct me if i am going wrong on any thing to help me develop a perfect site
