A book cover design for a first-time author. The book is being self-published, but needs to stand out as a quality product amongst a huge number of self-published titles hitting the market.

About the book
"Cracks in the Ceiling" is a collection of eleven fictional short stories, set in the the turbulent economic times of The Great Recession (Or the Global Financial Crisis). The stories are about ordinary people and their struggles and hopes, as they cope with the circumstances that are dealt them: losing their jobs and homes, helping friends in trouble, making their own success, having to move across town or across the world to survive, having to go back to work after losing their retirement savings.

The book is being published as an e-book only at this stage. The graphic will be viewed as an icon on the amazon kindle store (and similar stores such as Apple ibooks), and as a larger image on the book's own page. In future, the cover may be used in a print vers… Mehr lesen
