Introduction to surgical knowledge to case acceptance. We will start with the intro to implants that will cover population stats on tooth loss, how to make the patient trust the team, how to communicate with the patient. Then we will get more technical; bone loss, bone quality and quantity. We will also inform on pros and cons of different classic dental treatments vs implant treatment. Surgical knowledge deep into various aspects of implants procedures. An illustration of surgical instruments needed and motors and hand pieces. Operatory set up will be demonstrated. I’ll be guiding the role of the surgical assistant and non surgical assistant. At the end I’ll explain how to close an implant case. From single implants to more complex cases.
