"Small Change for Small Business" is a marketing campaign designed to help preserve local food cultures and local food businesses around the world.

"Global fast `food' and other chains are accelerating their plans for world domination. It is time for us to come together and do something about it," said the Association's President Erik Wolf. "The global financial crisis has only given pause to the egregious takeover of coffee, hamburger, donut and other outlets everywhere. We currently have a watch list of 671 chains around the world. Consumers need to wake up and smell the coffee."
