Type 2 diabetes app needs a brand character

Hier ist was Glik SPA suchte für sein character design.

We are an mHealth startup located in Chile launching an app designed for type 2 diabetic patients. The app's name is Glik (derived from the word "glicemia" in spanish which means "blood sugar").

The app's focus are:
1. Educate and provide insight to patients about their condition.
2. Help cope and alleviate the burden of disease.
3. Link patients who have physical or geographical limitations / difficulties to access healthcare with their providers.
4. Coach patients to adopt healthier life styles.

Diabetes can be a lonely and discouraging condition, especially when patients have limited access to healthcare and/or lack a proper support network / caretaker. Sometimes, patients have no one who they can frequently rely on, and are left to fend off for themselves until their next medical appointment.
