I studied Journalism with Mass Communication, Web Design, and History at the University of Southern Indiana. After 3 years of drawing in online communities, under the handle My_5_Girls, and selling numerous illustrations, my graphic designs have found a large following with a big fan base. This launched me into seeking more drawing and design opportunities. I write a popular parenting column, do free-lance writing, free-lance logo design, and has a well-read blog about raising a child that suffers from Tuberous Sclerosis (www.my5girls.com). I am also a published children’s book author. My life is filled with dainty divas and I never get to leave work. Drawing and design are a great way to escape from everyday stress. I love everything about my drawing communities and the creativity, support and love artists have for one another. I have drawn under the handle My_5_Girls for years as a way to express my inner crazy. I love steampunk and like to draw a lot of crazy things from that realm. Beautiful typography and hand lettering are some of my favorite things about graphic design with wording. I may use my kerning skills a little too much and get lost in my work.
