I do a lot of freelance work for local bands and musicians, includ ...more I am currently a Graphic Design major at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. I do a lot of freelance work for local bands and musicians, including album artwork and layout, t-shirt designs, posters, flyers and logos. With that, I try to visually represent the specific voice or tone that a band or musician has through digital and analog mediums. Aside of that, I also run my own clothing brand, Bad Break Clothing Co. The basis for that clothing brand focuses on bad luck. All of the work that I do for that is based upon representing the idea of having bad luck. The designs vary from literal representations, such as dropping an ice-cream cone, to more conceptual or superstition based, such as black cats. I have also been experimenting in book layout and design, focusing on type-forward design to help develop my typographic sensibilities. In addition to that, I have been branching out into the field of photography and screen printing with the intention to use it within my design work so that I can be more self-sufficient and experimental with my work. Working with screen printing will help develop my analog sensibilities and help influence my digital work in new ways.
