In every instance of creating a visual from an idea, my goal is to inform and delight. When branding I aim to create a lasting feeling from an image that expresses the character of a company and defines its relationships with consumers. As an information designer I translate complicated numerical and textual explanations into visual forms that help people see patterns in data and relationships among the components of complicated ideas. In all these practices, I use typography, photographs, illustrations, and graphic elements to construct messages that attract attention, cause the consumer to think about their meaning, and stay in their memories over time. hide
