Just wanted to know if you wanted me to redesign the book cover for 'Flexible Wings'? If so, how would you like it to be different? It would be if great help to know whats in your mind, so that I can design accordingly.

I want it to look very similar but have more of an illustrated or almost anime type feel to go with inside illustrations. The character is African American and Japanese and likes anime. But I don't want it to go to extreme because she is not full Japanese and I don't want readers to be confused. Think pretty comic book feel but not to cartoonish.

The other cover goes with the new cover.

Okay great! I'm also uploading more images of community for the illustrations. All illustrations are not due until approve process.

Correct. I did not want folks to have to do a lot of work on the front end. So if I like the samples then the designer and I will finalize other designs and then guaranteed payment released.

From my understanding you want a full colour cover and 2 pages (initially) then 20-22 other illustrations for just $300?
Most projects would be $240 for the cover and maybe one other illustration (then work with chosen designer at agreed rate for other illustrations. Could you please consider the proposed amount offered or offer additional sum for the rest of the illustrations? otherwise it looks like you are seriously undervaluing the time and work. plus you will get more submissions.Thanks

I have increased the budget. Illustrators please note: Please closely imitate current cover design that matches your illustration look. In fact don''t use that as your sample (if you have already started with cover no big deal) The illustrated version of book goes with the current design-almost like a special edition version of nonillustrated version of book. I will not be able to increase the budget again. I hope this helps encourage more submissions. Thanks for your consideration.

The loads of work you're asking is not really proportioned to the budget. But I'm interested, I'll try to submit.
