Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

This is just one step of what will become a larger project for winning designer.

Over the last 6 years we have played with various logo designs trying to capture what we do in a way that is both intuitive and reproduces well on screen, in print, on shirts or caps, etc.

IMN offers private broadcast solutions sometimes called "digital signage" and "video distribution". We enable our customers to run their own video or graphic content on various types and sizes of screens.

Since our original design we have added outdoor and interactive touch solutions. Our initial design used the universal "play" arrow to represent video on a screen. However, we are now thinking we might want something representing "touch" now but have not hit on exactly the right design. The latest logo (see attached files below) uses the new color pallet (see link to color pallet below) and attempts to add the touch element.

Our solutions utilize the internet so we added elements of "wireless" or Wi-Fi to make it clear that it is a network of multiple screens.

The imn is also a play on words - I'm in - the network that is. So we have had various designs trying to bring out the imn (i'm in) aspect.

I have included samples below of the various designs we have had over time.

Once we settle on a standard color pallet and have a new logo then we will work with the winning designer to re-do our website, business cards, letterhead, brochures, etc.

Regarding color we want either orange or red to be the color that makes it "pop" and orange reproduces better on digital screens than red which tends to bleed so in the past we have tended toward orange but I could be convinced to go with a bright red that reproduces well if the designer likes that best.

You can see some logo designs have integrated Inform, Educate, Influence, Entertain and Increase and others have not.

Our Core Competencies are helping manufacturers or other advertisers deliver the right content / message at the right time to the right audience. We can place what we call "screen properties" anywhere there is power and a wired or wireless network connection and then schedule specific content to run at specific times of the day, days of the week, etc. The content can be changed (updated) any time. We also specialize in interactive touch solutions that guide viewers through a unique experience delivering content that is most relevant based on their touch selections.

An easy way to understand is if you go into Walmart, Sam's Club, a doctors office, an automobile dealer, an airport, a fast food restaurant, etc. and see a screen that is running informative (flight schedules) or advertising content we provide the technology and expertise to enable organizations to do the same thing.

We would like our logo to capture the essence of what we do so people "get it" when they see the logo.

We would also like for our marketing materials, website, email and other correspondence to have a professional and high quality look and feel.

The font used needs to reproduce well on digital screens so nothing with a lot of rounded or fine elements. I like Constantia as a font but could be convinced of something different by designer.

The colors need to "pop" or be noticeable whether running on a television screen with black or blue background or printed on paper or stitched on a shirt or hat. The colors should be fresh and modern.

The goal would be to have a look similar to many "Apps" that one would see on an iPhone or Android device - bright and vibrant but professional.

We want to keep things to two or three colors maximum - ideally two. The third color could be used for text only.

We want to have various infographics and the winning logo designer may also be engaged to help create our marketing brochures, infographics, website, etc. if that is in their skillset and they have a desire to work with IMN.

Basically we want to establish our corporate brand and graphic standards including colors, fonts, logo, etc.

Once we get the logo done for Influence Media Network (imn) we will need to create a logo for a specific product we are manufacturing that we call the "infoCenter Digital Assistant". It will use the same color scheme and font but have it's own logo.

Please review the attached logos as they should give you some ideas of what direction we are going in. But feel free to ask any questions or do something completely different as none of the logos are just what we are looking for.
