Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

A logo, website, IAB standard format advertisements are required for the New Year's Resolution Show, a consumer event in London. This brief is for the logo first. The event will help consumers to fulfil their personal goals by introducing them to products and services that will inspire and encourage them to do more in 2016 - and for the rest of their lives. There is currently a holding website at http://www.newyearsresolutionshow.com which tells you more about the concept. Please do NOT use this website as an indication of the type of design that will work. I really want your own ideas on this.



THE LOGO

We are open to ideas for the logo. You have a free hand. However we recommend that if you are incorporating a graphic with a font based logo that you should supply your design with the graphic, and without the graphic.

All design files should be delivered in PSD format, editable and without any security or permissions placed upon them.

For info re THE WEBSITE:

The website should sell the event to both corporate exhibitors and attendees as well as being a source of information about how to fulfil New Year’s Resolutions. It will provide information about the event as well as functioning as an online magazine and as a hub for branded content / exhibitors text articles, images and video content.

Main pages will be:

• Home: which will include selected articles from the online magazine
• About: About the show
• Exhibitors: information for consumer visitors about the brands at the show
• Exhibiting and Demonstrating: information for companies about exhibiting and sales contacts
• Tickets: Information about the show for consumer visitors and ticket sales
• Contact us: contacts for companies and for consumers, with social media accounts
• Magazine: The content in this section will be placed into five sub-sections:

- News
- Health
- Finance
- Leisure
- Self-Improvement
- Relationships
- Be More

Social media functions for sharing, liking and posting to Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn should be incorporated through-out the website. We will use a third party ticket selling software for the tickets.

The website should be fully designed and coded based on the Drupal content management system. It should function effectively and maintain the same quality of branding on desktop, Android, Apple and Windows devices and with all browsers, including IE 6 - 9, Firefox 3.x – 5.x and Chrome 9 – 15.

Absolutely NO vertical scrolling website designs. I hate them.

Maintenance and customisation of the site after the design project is finished must be simple so we do not need to bother designers and coders to make subsequent changes. We will also want to enable numerous people to have limited access to update the editorial sections of the magazine section of the website with articles, images and video content – but not affect the main design of the website. We do not want any browser specific functionality, and would like to stick with standard HTML and basic PHP scripting.
