This job is for the design of a safety icon/art/logo that will be later produced in a sticker format.

On a construction site, safety is the top priority. Before any worker can begin work at a construction site they must first go through a safety indoctrination and training session with the site safety manager. After successful completion of this training, the worker is provided a sticker to affix to their hard hat, allowing easy identification and verification that the worker has completed the specific safety training. This sticker is what we need to have designed.

Our two current stickers are very old and dated and were most likely quickly produced by a local print shop (JPEG file attached showing a round sticker and a rectangular sticker). Please do not try and update these designs, new designs are requested. Additionally, use of the language on either sticker is not required, but may be used if appropriate. We are looking for NEW IDEAS.

There are very few limitations on the design, shape, orientation, colors, and text (if any) are up to you. If you would like to incorporate our firm colors a vector logo is attached for reference. Pantone colors are 286 and 424. The font used is Swiss 721 BT Medium Italic. The size of the new sticker will depend upon the proportions of the new design, but is anticipated to be less than 2.5" x 2.5".

Objective: Design a modern icon/image to be used as our new safety sticker. The key is modern, fresh, lightweight art designed with a purpose. More than one design may be selected.

**UPDATE 31 March 2015: I have uploaded a file from a competitor showing the logo placed on their hats. It is simple, modern, and makes a clear statement.
