Icon-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Three separate symbols, each representing a different thing - one representing a landmark, another representing telemetry, another representing acceleration.

SIZE: the symbols will be used on a variety of materials, and they will be used as icons on a web-site. THEY WILL NEVER NEED TO BE SMALLER THAN 200 x 200 pixels. If there has too be a choice between larger vs. smaller, I would rather have a better looker larger image and a lower quality smaller one, since most of the time size will not be an issue.

NOTE: I'm changing my mind on the above. Whatever size is submitted, I can scale down to 200 x 200 when needed. Please see the attachment for one possible use.

NEW NOTE on March 16 --
I am asking for a symbol (or an icon), but not necessarily a "Button". Buttons have certain look-and-feel, and we all know what that is. Several of the designs I have seen are beautiful buttons, but are a little too "buttony". I will use the symbol as a button on the web-site, but the 200 x 200 dimension should allow some freedom of expression beyond a standard looking button.

There is an attachment with one possible use. I hope this is helpful, but there are some problems with the attachment.
- I don't love the color. It was chosen purely because the examples I found on the internet (the copyrights below to someone else) were red.
- I don't own the copyrights to these images,
- The look isn't very professional.
Still, all that being said, it might give you some ideas.

The landmark could be a symbolic representation of a mountain or the torch from the Statue of Liberty (a graphic representation of the torch shown in the picture below), or anything else that people would recognize as a landmark. This symbol will represent a logical business reference model.

The telemetry symbol could be something like an EKG chart, and I am open to other ideas. This symbol will be used to represent a collection of business intelligence metrics.

One obvious idea for acceleration would be a speedometer. This is an obvious idea, but like the other icons it is better to be obvious than clever. This symbol will represent reaching goals faster.

The symbols will represent intellectual property owned by a very professional consulting company - the desired overall impression is one of high polish.

If what I end up with is a highly polished rendering of a mountain, an EKG graph and a speedometer, I would be happy with that. If I end up with something better, then of course that would be great.

You do not need to incorporate any words, but if you wish to the words will be: PSLandmark, PSTelemetry and PSAccelerate.

The icons can use color, but should not use more than three colors (not including shades of the same color). These icons will often be shown together, and should look nice together.
