Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

The name of my company is currently Welte Electronic Systems LLC. It's too long a name and does't tell anyone what I do. Which is primarily alarm systems, access control systems, security cameras, fire alarms. Current logo only has" WES Security" in it. I want help coming up with a new name for company and logo that has my name in it.

I would like to redesign current logo but not have black be the prominent color. I"d rather there be more of the gold/yellow. I like the crenelation (the saw toothed resemblence to the top of a castle wall), but I'd rather the shield not be so angular. I'd rather it look more like the Porsche auto crest with the chronalage on top.

• Note I uploaded two logos. The octogon was my previous. I actually liked the color scheme. I was just looking to get rid of the octogon shape because so many security companies use it. I just really liked the colors and wish i could find a way to incorporate more of the brightness.
