There needs to be a warning if the contest is closing early, as I was just about to submit my entries. Huge waste of time for those of us who thought that they had more time and had already spend time on this project, instead of focusing our efforts on job that is still open for submissions. I'm glad that the client found a design that they really liked so quickly, but another couple of hours "last chance to submit" would be ideal to avoid frustration and disappointment.

Yep, sadly I found the same issue with this design - its clipart with the 'climbing' word removed and the new mining company incorporated. And as the T&C's state on DESIGNCROWD you must tick if you have used clipart and supply the link to your purchase and an agreement from the original designer that in can be used in a logo.
I believe the client should be made aware of this by DESIGNCROWD because of any ramifications later with the orginal designer of the logo (which is very nice) that they could take legal action with the client!

I hope the client is aware of this !
