Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are looking for a new logo for our construction company. The name of our company is 'Viking'. We are a construction company that also has a show room selling materials like hardwood and ceramic so we will need a versatile logo that we can use for our signs on our storefront and as well as on our trucks and trailers. We are in the search for something modern and slick but also strong. Something that can be dropped on both a black and white background. We would like to keep a bit of our original colors as to keep some sort of continuity, but we are open to anything. Also, as for the illustration, we want to do away with it and go with simply text and perhaps some sort of design aspect, but no more viking man.
