Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo for a new web-based service providing editing and proofreading services to academics and university students. I will accept work on journal articles, university essays, dissertations, and doctoral theses. In the future I will offer workshops aimed at helping academic writers to ensure they know how to achieve the style that gives their work a voice. The logo should communicate professionalism, intelligence, attention to detail, efficiency. I like the idea of using various shades of blue if possible, but will be satisfied with black and white given the nature of my business. The logo will be used mainly on the web but I will be needing business cards and, in the future posters and banners. Therefore vector format will be needed.
