What don't you like about where your design was headed?

First, I want something that is vibrant, exciting and gives people a feeling of happiness. The color scheme I was using seemed a little muted. I also want the logos be sharp and stand out, yet not clash with the scheme I've chosen. Also, as I thought of how the type would be typeset and wrapped I thought it might look a bit odd and not be easy to read. Lastly the picture to the left represents what I'm looking for, but she maybe a bit too mature looking and of course the one to the right is pretty low resolution.

We are not allowed to use stock art, do you have photos of your own you would want to use?

I would like to ask what would be the size?
And just to clarify. It would be a one sided flyer, right??

It's an 11 x 8.5 flyer and it is one sided. I will post pictures for the flyer today.
