I kept trying to update the project brief last night, but it would not save for some reason. I like the concept of the water drop in the logo. That being said, we are a company based in the state of Texas and I would like to incorporate a exas flag into the logo. Possibly within the water drop, maybe like a watercolor, that way you can still tell that it is a drop of water. Thanks

Here is what I put in the brief that will not load. I hope this will help you all in your design.

I would like a logo for our water & wastewater utility operations company. My thoughts are that the logo will contain a water drop in the design. Since we are based in the state of Texas, I would like the logo to have the Texas flag incorporated into the logo. Possibly in the water drop, but not overbearing. Very subtle, like a watercolor or something, that way you can still tell that it is a drop of water. Also, I would like the logo to be very catchy to the eye and original, not something generic that you would see if you did a brief Google search for "water drop logo". I would like the name of our company either to the side, around, or under the logo....whichever looks best to the eye and layout. I want something that people will remember. Where you can see the logo and know which company it belongs to, regardless if you see the name of the business or not. I would like the wording to be in a nice font, not too playful. I want the logo to come across as professional and masculine. We deal with a lot of Board members that are an older generation, so I'm not trying to reach the "young crowd". We are selling a service and an image, not a product that people buy. So the type of marketing has to be a little different when trying to catch people's eye. I am not a designer by any means, so I am leaving the creativity aspect up to all of you and hope that you can create something that we can use as the forefront of our brochures, on our vehicle fleet, our website, uniforms, and our business cards. I updated the brief with two additonal pictures for ideas. The water drop with the green around it represents recycling wastewater. While we treat wastewater and don't actually recycle it, the concept of how it all ties back in together is important. Hopefully the designer can find a way to use the green to represent the wastewater treatment side of our business and the blue to represent the water treatment side. The other logo I upoaded. the one from Netsol, I think it has a kind of neat concept. I was wondering what it would look like to play off of that design as one option. Maybe the main drop in blue and the drop that is laying down in green? As in flowing sewer and runnning water? Just a thought, I'm brainstorming and trying to give you designers more to work with for ideas. All of you are artists so I have no doubt you will come up with very unique and individual designs.
