Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are seeking a new creative logo for a criminal defense law office. The formal name of the law firm is "Law Office of Douglas Herring." We would use the logo on documents and on web directories. We will use it as the icon for a iphone app.

I have attached the business card that we are using and the current letterhead. The current logo is a standard scale of justice image, which is not unique. We are seeking something more memorable that conveys both sophistication and expertise.

The primary colors of the business card and letterhead have been red and black.
