@brandmechanic: point taken. It is my first time using DesignCrowd, and I wanted to make sure the quality of design was satisfactory before giving out the city's money. Having said that, I have now guaranteed payment for the project.

I have a bunch of decent proposals (effektmedias included), but notning that really rocks.
A lot of designers have solved the task within the framework given, but very few have been CREATIVE.
I can probably find a logo I am comfortable with among what I have, but I am not impressed with the collective brainpower of 400000 designers in terms of think in outside the box.
So please - chip in. But go beyond the brief. Think thoughts I have not been able to
