We are open to both but the logo needs to communicate high style, sophistication and feel expensive / luxurious. These are extremely high-end exclusive clubs. That said, we want to make sure that it also feels welcoming, fresh / current or timeless style and communicates a certain amount of youthfulness (translation does not feel like a retirement home or all inclusive resort). Think Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental level of service and amenities.

Based on the designs submitted so far, we would like to build on the direction some of you have gone. Our team would like to see more typeface only logos. Our goal is to have a clean, modern, and distinctive typeface preferably in Black or in the Grey spectrum as long as it looks rich or inviting. If you want to add embellishment to punctuate the typeface, the embellishment should minimalist, modern, and clean. Most important it should work with the clean modern typeface and feel integral to the logo design.
