Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Business: Clarence of London, a new brand that will be selling luxury men’s leather bags and accessories, needs a logo. We believe that we should only use the best materials and the best artisans from Italy, with a British sense of design, to produce products that are of the highest build quality. Our designs are understated, yet on trend.

Logo: Given the target market,The logo should be modern and clean and not overly complicated. It will need to work on numerous backgrounds - stamped, embroidered and printed (I.e on fabric, leather and metal), as well as suitable I for usage on a website. I would like the logo to be wordmark and/or lettermark (For example: "Clarence of London," "C L" or coL acceptable).

Elements: Any additional elements should be kept minimal (or none at all). If included, Please hold relevance to: the themes outlined in the“Business” section above.

Imagery: Similar to brands logos such as: Louis Vuitton and Chanel

Shape: The logo, as a minimum will need to be legible and fit in a or 4cm (Length) x 3cm (height), but scalability would be good)

Typeface: open to suggestions, but ultimately looking for a modern typeface, not complicated

Colours: We are open to suggestions for colour(s), however preference is to keep the colour(s) minimal / one colour. The logo will need to look good both on a website (white background), but also be usable on various backgrounds, per my earlier comments.


UPDATE: Hi All,

Thanks for your contributions so far, I've received a few good ideas. I have decided to extend the project by a few days. I have reviewed a number of entries, which have combinations of usage of Script and Serif fonts, which I quite like. However, some of the entries using just the letter "C" as an emblem resemble a number of logos already out in the market. When making submissions, please be mindful and make sure the emblem that you are submitting isn't already being used by another company.
