Volunteer Realty was started in the 1950's by Gordon Smith in Knoxville, Tennessee. For decades, it was the number one name in East Tennessee for everyone's real estate needs - commercial and residential. Gordon sold the business to his son Scott in 1993, and the logo remains the same and we are looking for a fresher look, but want to hold on to a certain tie so that customers can still relate to the nearly 60 year old brand. The large "V" in Volunteer is actually very important, as in Tennessee Real Estate law, no character in a sign or advertisement can be larger than the largest letter in the logo name (meaning - the big V allows bigger wording and numbers in the advertisements. The orange color relates to the Tennessee Vols, and the website also coordinates with Tennessee VOL football - www.volrealty.com.

Muss haben
- Some version of one or two of the original colors. A fresher and updated look and brand that can last another few decades. Logo perhaps implies that we do both residential and commercial real estate.
Schön zu haben
- Perhaps keep a version of the large "V" in Volunteer. Definitely need some orange color. Since 1962.
