Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
The Australian Retired Persons Association (SA) Inc is thirty years old. It needs to revitalise its image to attract those that may never 'retire' from some form of work. We would like to incorporatethe words - 'active over 50s' into a logo.
A new eye-catching logo is just one step in the process of changing the image of the Association. ACTIVE has been used as much is said about using it or losing it, so we wish to give ourselves the image of active mind, active body and active social life (friendship). This also fits nicely into the government's policy of keeping older persons active and healthy.
The logo has to be appealing (and informative) to the over 50 demographic and it will be used widely on letterheads, promotional material and a new website. (www.arpasa.asn.au if you wish to look at the present site)
The ARPA colour has been green but this is not essential. More details in attached file.

We have been very pleased with the standard of logo presented. Such variations. I am sure that the committee will have a tough time making a final decision.
We have asked some of you to make alterations to the original design.
We have to make sure that a B&W alternative will work as many of the groups will only print using B&W.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: With this extension I am hopeful of receiving some additional designs - although several of those already received are excellent. It will be a committee decision and this is closer to the meeting date on July 21

The Association would like to thank all those designers that prepared a logo for consideration. We did have a lengthy discussion but felt that the winner best met our needs.
