I think they have the copyright to it, so you should stay away from it. There are plenty of other fonts to use.

Please note that for the sketches of the four structures at the four main parks, silhouettes will work, too.

what is the thickness of the spine of the book?

A little more than 1/2 inch or about 1.3 centimeters.

what is the target audience's age?

The purchaser (target audience) will be parents/grandparents 25-85, but primarily parents 25-50. The users of the book will be kids 8 and up and the parents. I would like a family friendly design. The Mom is usually the purchaser, so please make it appealing to them.
