Ideally, I would like the majority of the design work to go into the main landing page - the other pages can be based on the theme from the main page (the other pages being a page for guides and tips, a page for reviews, and a forum page). I'm not looking for css code or backend at the moment, just design ideas for a good look that conveys professionalism and expertise as it is an educational resource.
To give some inspiration, I recently came across this site: schoology.com which is the sort of theme I'm after.
