Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Location based, personalized gifts – for those people who have everything!

New business and new concept in gift giving. The gift is a location based, point of interest, personalised memory map plaque that you can put in your garden. Appeals to travellers and people who have led a full life. Made from laser etched anodised aluminium, durable.

Website/Business name is UBIgifts.com, but current product idea names include: Memory Mapper, UBI Dial...

Target 1: Women, buying present for a man, probably over 40 years old (40-50 age bracket), disposable income, educated, well-travelled.

Target 2: Men buying for themselves/their home/alleged gift! - probably smaller market, but more into the idea.

Target 3: Men buying gift for men - sons for fathers. Gift receiver older.


Colours - green/silver? Strong colours.

We like animal / iconic images - like a gecko (though this is very over-used for travel) or dolphin. But we are looking to be impressed / surprised!

Words associated with business / brand - travel, memories, gifts, personalised, unique, exclusive, maps, mapping, holidays, vacations, location, bold, ambitious, aspiring, playful, modern, upmarket.

The logo needs to work well on website (full-colour) and one-colour printed (on the plaque itself), so must be good in greyscale. Also needs to work well in square format (logo) and banner (like the header of a website). The image needs to stand by itself - like the bird for twitter - and work with the words next to it.
