Is the file that I submit just a preview of how my design looks and for the judges to inspect? I see that when submitting it say: Image preview dimensions should be 1200px x 1000px (300 DPI) - so does that mean nothing over 1200px x 1000px?

Is it vital that we take the photo of the city ourselves? because i live in Bournemouth so the only way i can participate in this competition is to use stock photography :/
