Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

SLIC.nz

“Slic.nz” (Students Learning in Context) is an online tutoring site that supports children aged 7 - 13 in their goals and learning through group and one on one video conferencing. Slic will support children in numeracy and literacy through contexts that engage student learning. I am looking for an original logo that enables the business to stand out from others. The logo needs to be fun, cool, slick, colourful and appeal to both children aged 7 - 13 however, still has the sophistication to appeal to children's’ parents. My aim is to use modern learning techniques to teach children through latest technology such as ipads, computers, video conferencing, flash lessons, internet games and collaboration. I would like it to be easily identifiable as a learning site where children learn in context, such as dinosaurs, space, the future, through imagination, and creativity.

I've added some logo's below that I quite like however, I'm open to lots of different ideas.
