Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
Esportstore ESS is an international store for eSports merchandise and fan wear based in Stockholm, Sweden. We are working closely with some of the largest teams on the eSports scene.
Now we are looking for a new logo to represent us as a store, but also as a team. We use “ESS” for short.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a new symbolic and meaningful design to represent us. A design that is professional and would look great on our own apparel. We are looking for a design that can be used in 3 different ways; with only a graphic symbol, with only the text and both together as a whole logotype.
Please refer to companies such as Adidas (using only the stripes or the “Adidas”-text), Nike (using only the symbol or the “NIKE”-text), Fnatic etc.
The symbol:
- Should be built of or consists the three letters “E”, “S”, “S”.
It can be spelled out “ESS” or just use the letters separately. The three letters can be embedded into a fabled animal, a shield or anything that you can come up with.
For example, Fnatic’s logo symbol is built around their brand name and says “Fnatic” in a clean and easy way.
or the team Cloud9, a blue cloud built with three "9"s.
- Should work well with the text.
- The rest, for your free interpretation.
The text and font:
- Should say “Esportstore”.
- Not need to be very fancy, but a customized text would also look good.
- Should work well with the symbol.
The colors:
- We are looking for a red / white / gold / blue color theme but you can choose another color if you think it would look better for your design.
The style:
- Clean and easy to print on different apparel.
- Sporty / Tribal perhaps but it’s not set to stone. We will leave it up to you.
- Keep it clean but selling and stylish

Aktualisierungen
We have now given feedback to all designs we have received. Some designs were great and other a bit underwhelming.
If you choose to make an animal logotype, do try to create a fabled creature since there are so many other teams and organizations with an animal design. We do not want to get mixed up with them. I love symbolic and meaningful design. Simple but can tell you a lot. Perhaps a bit more mysterious with a hidden message.
If you choose an non-animistic design, do make it simple and clean, but you could also incorporate the ESS in a creative way. With just a text in different fonts just not feel very out of the box and you will have to try harder.
We are very happy to have receive this many designs and are looking forward to more creative designs!
