Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are looking to update our current logo to a new approach, we have had our logo for 25+ years so is very recognizable so don't want to go fully away from it so if you can freshen it up to a more modern look, or add some image to enhance it would be great.
We specialize in Local Area Network Infrastructure cabling. We install Copper network cabling, Fibre optic cabling, Design and Consultation.

We have attached our original logo and one that we like the look of so something of the two would be good.

The final design should communicate professional, approachable and relaxed.

We will be using the logo for all our business branding so has to be sizable for vehicles, business cards, website & clothing.
The ability to have a transparent back ground so we can have it on white or black backgrounds would be good.
