Web-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I represent a South American based company: “VACANES” which provides a different array of pet related services. As a starting point, I would like to get proposals for 1 page website (plus a general frame for forms, instructions etc) web design job for a dog boarding marketplace. If you could add a logo is desirable.

By a Dog Boarding Marketplace, I mean a community marketplace, very much like an airbnb, but for pet services (initially dog boarding/daycare, but evolving to other services such as dog walkers. The purpose is to bring together dog owners and dog-care providers according to qualifications or characteristics given at time of input and needs of the dog owner given at the time of searching. Providers create a profile, entering certain information requested in forms such as their location, type of house/apt, what type/size of dogs they take, prior experience, as well as a personal introduction and pictures. Providers will set their own rates and calendar availability. Then customers browse, schedule and book and pay online. As it works for similar services, there will be a system of reviews and feedback for each care provider.

As to the website, it should be substantially similar to the following websites: (www.dogvacay.com , www.rover.com). It should be simple and straightforward, prioritizing ease of use. I would like for visitors to easily understand how the model works by seeing the home page, and getting pop up explanations by browsing over each main icon or message on the homepage. Therefore, I would try to keep additional pages to a minimum.

As I’m new to this, I would not venture as to how many pages I would need and would defer to your suggestion, according to the examples provided. However, I would like to have a visually striking front end, with dog related pictures or cartoon type images. Icons etc should be fun, and related to dogs, vacations, hotels/lodging, travel, etc. Secondary pages (like enrollment forms, Q&A, etc) could have a clean design, maybe adding some non-obtrusive related imagery.

In general I want to make a site very much like the examples of dogvacay and rover, but i think a better job could be done in terms of design. Please feel free to provide your own ideas.

1. For now, since the site will be new, we would not be including a testimonials section. However, we could use the space , or maybe smaller, with the "spread the love"section for announcing special deals for people who share the project.

2. In the principal section, I would like to see a clean layout. Much like dogvacay does. As an alternative, I would also like to see how it would look like if we handled more cartoon type drawings instead of pictures (just a suggestion to see how it would look like).

3. Search spaces should be more floating (merging more with background), as in dogvacay, not in larger boxes.
