Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo designed for my business Im starting called "The Conscious Adventurist" (consciousadventurist.com ). It is a site that will have a blog about environmental issues, wildlife issues, also reviews on eco friendly and animal friendly products like clothing, gear, and sports nutrition. Part of the sales will be donated to various non profits that help with nature and the environment. It will also be a retail store for clothing, gear, and sports nutrition for the conscious adventurist out there. I would like a simple, clean, sharp looking logo. I want to stay away from usual vegan/treehugger/hippie look i see on lots of websites that look like they are dated back to the 90s, however that is my target market if that makes any sense. I am shooting for a website look similar to backcountry.com however it will be more blog driven. I am open to just about any design ideas at this point and excited to see what creative people come up with.I have come up with a simple font and color scheme just to get business cards made for some trade shows, and like the simplicity, yet am open to changing this as I quickly chose this in a rush (images attached). I really would like an image more than anything that can be my brand logo that can be recognizable even without the name attached. Thanks to everybody that is going to try and help me make this happen.
