Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Little Falls Village (LVF) is a non-profit, neighbor-helping-neighbor organization. We organize neighborhood volunteers to help seniors in their neighborhood do what's called "aging in place" ... that is to age at home as long as they can. This is NOT a medical service, but one that provides for basic needs, transportation, shopping assistance, companionship, basic house-hold tasks, etc. See out website at www.littlefallsvillage.org.

I would like to see designs that capture what we do ... either with graphic(s) or just in words. Not sure what that means which is why I'm asking for your help. You're smarter than me.

Would like designs to show my board by 12 noon, April 30, 2013 if possible.

FYI: There's no water fall ... but there is a little stream through a wooded area.

Most of our customers will be about 70+ in age, none are likely to have any major handicaps that might require things like wheelchairs. Since we cannot provide any kind of medical assistance, we are simply an organization of neighborhood volunteers who make it easier for older residents to stay in their homes longer (or age in place) before the demands of being at home are so great that the individuals must move into a retirement home. Most people don't what to leave their homes and they don't want to bother their children (if they have family living nearby) for help. But they don't mine asking for help from neighbors who are willing to volunteer in various ways. Little Falls Village will link these seniors with volunteers. For village members, its a way to remain independent and in control of their daily life longer. Retired residents in our village tend to have had a moderately high level of professional business or government service careers.

• I've seen some nice early designs. Wouldn't mind seeing some designs that combine our acronym "LFV" with what it stands for "Little Falls Village" or variations simply on the "Little Falls Village" name.
