Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo design for my life's passion - "True North Retreats". Why True North Retreat? Because I was born and raised in Northern California and I'm helping people find their "true north" within themselves. The company was formed to empower women ages 14+ to go outside their comfort zones, by going outside. The retreats will focus on self-improvement: mind, body, and soul. There is hiking, mountain bike riding, yoga, massage, paddle boarding, snow shoeing, running, ceramics, canning, nutrition, relationships, dancing, and much more, depending on that certain theme of retreat.
I'm not particular about the use of colors, designs, or fonts. I would like it to represent a strong, yet feminine lady: one that can get dirty on a mountain bike, but then can put on a little, black dress and nail a business presentation.
I would love to somehow incorporate a humming bird, if it seems right. Also, I'd like to use the "North" compass symbol as well.
