Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
Our company is an equal cross between technology, high impact electronic music events and spirituality. We wish that the logo can help one visualize somewhat in an abstract or hidden way these two messages:
1. Beyond One - meaning this is more than about the individual, it's about the experience and all of us. In our beyond_ideas.psd file you can see that by using an upwards arrow with a dot in place of a "Y" this can be done in a simple way. Of course our mock-up is far from polished - we are not designers.
2. Be One - meaning we are one in a sense taken from The Secret and other spiritual beliefs that we are all connected as one [in the universe]. In the same file you can see how the word can form two words as "be one."
This is essentially why we chose this name as the letter forms can be used in different ways to express these concepts. It's not necessary to move in the exact direction - it's just an idea we came up with. By all means if you have a better idea please submit and show us your creative side.
One last idea we had worth mentioning is to implement the OM forms to create the word "Beyond" in some way so when someone views the logo they thing of the OM symbol.
Some other files are included just to show examples of using white space to form "hidden" arrows and letters which is nice too. The design doesn't have to be in your face - our followers are intelligent so it's good that it might take a few seconds viewing the logo and then think, "oh wow - ok I get it. nice!"

I have uploaded a set of logos we paid for in a previous contest. This is a very good start but it's still not exactly what we're looking for. Feel free to edit and submit variations on them if you like to increase your chances of winning.
