Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a good logo design for my new company. I am an individual who has just started out programming web-based software and providing advise to software engineering. I also need to keep the design open to additional services, such as hardware recommendation and sales (not only software development/engineering).

I have registered the company with the name "iSolveIT" which may be a big name for a small business, but it is meant to resemble that it provides unique software solution to customers' IT problems. I like blue'ish designs, but I'm open to most suggestions. I don't have much design experience, but I know when I see something I like.

My strengths are lots of programming experience, affordable prices and open mindedness. Although I'm looking for an international design/logo, my initial website will be in faroese, which creates the need of a replaceable slogan text (if used):

Some of the slogans I have thought of are:
Original IT Solutions / KT Skipanir við frumleika
Unique IT Solutions / Makaleysar KT loysnir
Creative IT Solutions / Skapandi KT Loysnir

You can make suggestions to these or others (don't bother about the faroese text).

Edit:
As a pointer, I like minimalist designs. Some ideas/pointers:
Perhaps we could use the letter O to make an icon out of (again perhaps a lightbulb, or a magnifying glass, which could involve the neighbour-letter L too).

Also I noticed that there is a symmetry in the name because of the letters I and L being every 3rd letter (1st, 4th and 7th letter) - perhaps this can come into play in some engenious way? Not sure how, though
I.e.: removing the other letters = I__l__I_

As the name suggests solving something, I suggest the graphic involving a puzzle, rubikscube, maze, a lightbulb, some math symbol - or even better if you can think of some puzzle/problem that is more computer-related (nerdy-glasses?), and illustrate that with an icon.

These are just suggestions, and I'm open to every suggestion.
