Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a start-up wine bar and cafe located in a small country village with a 19th century vibe. Our trading name is 'The Saucy Cuttle', and we are looking for a logo to suit.

The village really hasn't changed that much in the last 100 years or so. We are looking at a 'Steampunk' theme in terms of decoration and attire.

We need a logo that will work in both black and white as well as colour. Suitable for sign, artwork and possible for merchandising as well.

The logo we are looking for will combine the following elements:

'Saucy' octopus/Cuttlefish figure,dressed in 19th century style with a steampunk aesthetic. Think lady octopus/cuttlefish adventurer with sabre or pistol. Octopus/cuttlefish with long tentacles holding aloft the "Tyalgum' boat as if playing with it.

The work of Brian Kesinger is the kind of feel we are looking for, but obviously Brian's work is not suitable for a commercial logo, and equally obviously the logo needs to be original.
