Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

My name is Kevin Smokler. I'm a writer. I run a newsletter about how to consume pop culture smarter called The Smoke Signal (http://tinyletter.com/KevinSmokler/archive). Looking for a header logo I could insert easily at the top of each newsletter. Something that incorporates the visual motif of smoke but also the idea of something telling you which way the wind is blowing, a compass needle, a lodestar, a direction to go to reach a goal.

Prefer bright, bold colors, playful, yet elegantly so. Classic over cutting edge.
