Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I'm looking for a logo that has a good play on typography, but maintaining a modern look.

The LOVE word could possibly be a simple clean heart shape- perhaps. This project is in it's early stage and we are open to your creativity.

This logo is going to be used primarily for a knitting kit/knitting print & electronic patterns that will eventually be distributed worldwide. We need this logo to be used for all marketing materials: website, print, stickers, packaging, and schwag.

I am going to do my best to describe the visual parts to how I see our idea come to life. Our idea really was inspired from the product & website
www.weareknitters.com This is the company that has created knitting kits and has been sold to major retail stores. (I saw it first in a Benetton store in Madrid) If any site will help you understand our phase 1, this would be the site.


The feeling:
It is my intention to have each person who uses our pattern or views our product to feel as though they are part of something bigger. Like they have been let in to the “cool” and “modern” group of knitters. Each person should have an experience and feel like they are receiving a gift of sorts. I want them to feel inspired and left with the feeling that they have the ability to create something (either for them or someone else).

I want to create a “knit philosophy” that has a ripple effect when used.



The look:
I want our product to have a simple, sleek, clean and modern look. I envision black, charcoal, shades of gray with pops of edgy colors.


Inspiring websites:
www.philosopy.com This is the skin care line I mentioned. I love how clever names are used to title the product. Each product has an explanation or a “philosophy” behind the product. I think this could be a fresh way to describe each product we design.
