In the area of small hotel development, we identify, acquire, renovate, reposition, market and manage distinctive, luxury inns and hotels. There is a unique market for lodging with 35-225 keys offering all the amenities, world-class cuisine, cutting edge technology, and superior management. HCH is exceptionally well qualified to fill this niche.
Our management strategy is to superimpose leading-edge hospitality methodology (as practiced in the largest & best hotel companies) onto the small, independent hotel sector - with a careful, scale appropriate approach. The principals of Hay Creek Hospitality average over 30 years of experience in the hotel industry. We have an appreciation of the balance of dedication and training, challenge and compassion that goes into developing a cadre of personnel able to serve the needs of our demanding clientele. Employees and managers all have a stake in their hotels because all participate in a profit sharing program developed specifically to generate and reward their commitment. From busboys to bartenders, sous-chef to dishwashers, guest service agent to management, all participate directly in the success of the hotel.

He has served on several industry and non-profit organizations’ advisory boards and received an honorary doctorate from Johnson & Wales University for his role in defining and supporting their food and beverage apprenticeship programs. His undergraduate studies were at the University of Colorado and Columbia University.
