Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Hello! I need a logo design for our small family business in Altenmarkt / Zauchensee, a small village in the alps of Austria, located in the center of the Ski amadé region.

Regarding the logo, I have a very specific idea in mind, which I want to elaborate a little bit more, subsequently.
We have a small farm in the mountains of Salzburg. At the moment we rent two apartments to our guests (we want to grow in the future). The main characteristics of our business and our region are:

(a) We are a small family business.
(b) Our guests appreciate our offer individual service. Our facilities are very new, the farm and the gardens are well-groomed, the rooms and the equipement are complete and very nice.
(c) Our region is characteristed by four seasons. The main seasons are summer, which is very green and often sunny, and winter, white and with a lot of snow.
(d) In summer the main activities are hiking and mountain biking. In winter the main sport activities are skiing, ski touring (hiking up the mountain with alpine skis and descending in the deep powder snow), cross country skiing, sleding, etc.
(e) Regarding the sports, the following activities can be performed directly from our farm: ski touring (directly behind our house; we are very proud about that), several hiking trails are accessible via our farm. Skiing facilities (lifts) are very near (2-6 kilometers and reachable by bus or car), mountainbiking is possible in the whole area.
(f) The most obvious hiking trail is the one to the "Lackenkogel", which is our local mountain and is in the back of our farm. The trail leads through the forest and through mountain pastures do the top.
(f) Our farm offers one of the best views in our town. One can see different mountain ranges and enjoy the silence in our gardens. Moreover, you can walk around on our farm, sit down on a bench and enjoy a good book, medidate, play with our animals (cats, dog, guinea pig, chickens, [during the winter season also cows], ...).

As a small business we cannot compete with big hotels. However, our guests appreciate our offer individual service. Our facilities are very new, the farm and the gardens are well-groomed, the rooms and the equipement are complete and very nice.

The things that our guests love the most are (a) the wonderful view and panorama, (b) the silence and the location next to the forest and the mountains, and (c) the comfort and quality of our apartments.

However, as we are located on a hill, our farm is sometimes difficult to access in winter. When there is new snow, guests need skid chains for their cars, and sometimes my dad already had to bring them up with the support of our tractor. While for most guests this is an unforgetable adventure, and they enjoy the new snow and the perfect skiing conditions, we already had guests that complained about the difficult driving conditions. Thus I had the idea that the logo should already reflect our location, making it for everyone obvious that we are located in the mountains on a hill. I recently travelled in Colombia (Minka) and came across a logo I liked very much, because it reflects the unique location of the hotel, but at the same time it does not make a secret that it the location is a little bit remote and possibly difficult to access (please have a look at the picture "casa-loma-colombia). I had the idea to make the logo similar like the one from casa Loma, but with the elements from Austria / Salzburg, with the "Lackenkogel" on it and our "yellow" house (see "hinterwiesgut-our-house-and-farm") in the middle of the hill (for the shape of the Lackenkogel see pictures "lackenkogel" and "altenmarkt".

Maybe it would be possible to have one "summer version" and one "winter version", i.e., for summer the mountain would be half-green, half-snow and with a sun, while in the winter version the whole mountain would be white, with big snowflakes. Probably the logo is already getting too complicated, but one could also consider to add a skiier or a hiker, and/or skiing traces down the mountain...

I already played around with the logo myself (see hinterwies-example1), but as I created the logo with another logo software, I finally ended up with a version that I liked, but it is still imperfect, it is b/w, and I do not like the labels that much. Moreover, I think the mountain should also have the characteristic shape of the "Lackenkogel", our local mountain (see "lackenkogel" picture). However, I add this version so that you get an idea.

In the best case you take the "casa-loma-colombia" logo as a starting point, get creative and transform this idea into a logo that fits for our farm in Altenmarkt / Zauchensee. Otherwise, you take the logo that I started with (hinterwies-example1) and adapt the shape of the mountains, optimize the labels (please not that it is very important to me to have access to the used fonts), and colorize the logo. You can also leave it b/w and be creative - it's up to you!
