Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We seek a new logo for the LessonSketch online software platform, which we develop and produce in the context of nonprofit research and education. We would like an abstract logo that can be used next to the software name or by itself. We would like the logo to be usable and distinguishable at different sizes (e.g., on a business card, on the front page of the website, etc.) using among other colors a shade of blue (RGB hex code: #9EC9EA, R: 158 G: 201 B: 234).

LessonSketch’s technology combines the functionalities of media annotation and bookmarking, multimedia content creation, online course and questionnaire creation, and some social media. While the platform manages a variety of media types (videos, images, etc.), it has a legacy investment in storyboarding with cartoon characters and provides good support for the creation and viewing of these storyboards. Furthermore, the platform is especially good at reusing user-generated content—media can be annotated and those annotations can be included with the media in experiences that are delivered online, etc.

The platform is used to disseminate and assess the relational know-how involved in various human services professions (e.g., teaching, customer service, sales, doctor-patient interaction, management, though the large majority of current content and use is in the area of teacher preparation). In doing so, the platform serves as a place to create and store multimedia stories that depict different aspects of the interpersonal interactions fundamental to those professions. End users respond to these stories in a variety of modalities.
