Surya

Thank you for your question.

Crowd Design website would not allow me to add logo to spec, but on my website the logo is a separate item so you can right click on web page logo in your browser and do a "save picture as.."

I do not have a reference site that the site was based on, it has evolved from content.

The site navigation was based on common traditional pages e.g. about us being in one menu bar and the various product range categories being in a separate menu bar. Plus as all products are grouped into areas to help navigation and each individual product is on its own page to help SEO.

You mention home page, although it would be interesting to get comments and ideas on this I''m focusing on trying to develop the roller banners page in the brief as this has common elements that go through the website.

I hope the above answers your questions, if you have any more questions please ask.

Rgds

Stephen

Tom

Thank you for contacting me.

I'm looking for a website designer who is both skillful and professional that I can work with as a makeover expert.

I have requested I see changes to a sample page:

http://www.exhibitionprint.co.uk/Print_Roller_Banner.aspx

that I have recently created to judge if the designer has made suggestions that take that web page to the next level of looking polished and professional.

I hope you will submit your suggested changes for you to be considered on this and the future work available.

1.the page layout length is much you have to reduce it so that a user is not bored scrolling downwards to locate an information.
2.Easy steps to Choose the right Roller banner - It ought to have separate pages with the information underneath.
3.When step 2 has been moved to a new page "Other benefits" images will be moved upwards to streamline the page layout.
4.There are too much color selection on the website it ought to have been 2-3 color usage with that the website will look more professional and modern.
5. Enquiry form needs to be validated because hackers can easily get into the back-end of the form,it has to be validated so that it will not submit empty fields.I click on the form and submitted empty fields it went and says "Thank you, your message has been sent." this is wrong the form ought to have trigger a message whereby you will be asked to fill missing field or fields.
6.there are too much spaces between the bottow of the page and the images and texts.
7.you have different text alignment and types you ought to have used one which is better for a professional website.

Hi,

I've just got a few questions that would really help in my design proess:

1. Are you looking for minor tweaks to the design layout, images used, colour etc using css and html, OR would you be more willing to have a complete overhaul to the design that has the same content, but presented in a more visually appealing and engaging way? (I'm asking because I do not have experience in aspx framework but have CSS/html/jQuery experience)

2. Could you use jQuery sliders in your work?

Best regards,
Beeforbeagle

Hi

Thanks for getting in touch.

This is my first time posting here, so I did not want to restrict or dictate how designers submitted their work.

Firstly I'm not looking for any asp / aspx code.

It seems either a photoshop layered file on a whole page redesign - keeping the elements whilst adding any additional suggested graphics/images and any elements that aid the look and fell on the page. As it would be in layers it would be easy to extract a layer with any graphics to add to the html myself.

But in addition it has ben helpful when designers add a few words about why they have changed it the way they have and offer some alternatives or additional changes in words they have not included that would further enhance the professional look of the page.

It would be possible to add a jQuery slider into the design.

I hope this clarifies the position, however if you have any further questions please get in touch.
