Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo designed for a new CrossFit gym opening in Southern New Hampshire. The gym (or "Box" as they are called in CrossFit) will be called Phantom CrossFit. For an overview of what CrossFit is visit www.crossfit.com or google "Let Me Tell You About Crossfit" and find the YouTube video.

We would like the colors to be black, purple and grey. We want the logo to have a "Cool" or "Wow" factor that will not only go on our webpage and business cards but will look great on t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. since clothing sales will be a major revenue contributor for us.

The logo should be cool and should appear to both men and women.

Hello and thank you all for the submissions.  After seeing these different ideas I think I would like to see something with a "Phantom" in it.  The phantom that we envision is more of a ghost rather than the superhero Phantom.  We envision something with a cape, kind of mysterious and only eyes, no face.

Additionally, I would like to incorporate wings around the words Phantom CrossFit.

Based on some comments I am providing some more background.

What I am trying to convey is something a little more "Rogue", "Tough" and maybe even a little "mysterious".  CrossFitters love buying gear and having a cool shirt or sweatshirt is a real revenue driver.  Also the culture of crossfit is counter-culture to big box gyms and CF'ers pride themselves on that.  Many clients have multiple tattoos, wear high socks, etc.  I am trying to get my logo to appeal to that crowd, while at the same time, not turning off others who may be on the fence and deciding whether they can handle CrossFit or not.  Many workouts are named after Military heroes and hold them in high regard.  In fact, many elite military units, Fire Depts and Police Depts have adopted CrossFit.

The colors I would like to see are purple, grey, black and maybe a brighter green to accent the purple and black.
